Raster Transfer Language. A printer/plotter language developed by Hewlett-Packard for output of CAD files to large output devices. Rather than converting the drawing to Pen Up, Pen Down and XY movments used in their HPGLi language, RTLi images the entire file and outputs it as a large raster (pixeli based) image file.
